After a competitive tendor process, AS Sports were selected for Chelmsford City Council to transform Beaulieu Park Recreation Ground in Chelmsford. Beaulieu Park Recreation Ground is a large park with an abundance of sports facilities so there is something for everyone and a great place for families.

The Brief:
Beaulieu Recreation Ground required a transformation due to being a popular sports ground. Chelmsford City Council chose AS Sports after a competitive tendor process. The tired macadam surface was replaced with a new state of the art 3G synthetic surface for both football and multi-sports.
The project started in September 2022 and took four weeks to complete.
Scope of Works:
- Extensive work on the base
- Fencing replacement to a 4m high 868 super rebound fencing system
- New 3G synthetic surface to transform a tired macadam area
- New fence fixed goals to utilise the space available
